MONTFORT
TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE

This College, in Mary View, Limbe, an initiative of the late Bishop Theunissen and built and staffed under the leadership of the Brothers FIC, opened its doors in 1961.
It started off as a Roman Catholic institution, but, because of government policy, it soon became interdenominational.
In the course of the past fourty years the College went through many changes. The population, the staff, the curriculum, the housing, the leadership, the financial policy, and more, changed sometimes drastically during these four decennia.
A more detailled history of this important educational institution still has to be written.

Below a few pictures to give an impression, mainly about the former and present buildings.
We hope that, in the future, also students, staff, activities, and the like, can be shown here.
