CAS runs MINI refuges in Accra City. In these rented rooms or wooden kiosks, fieldworkers meet the street children in that particular area of town and advise and educate them there.

preparing for sponsorship Street children are prepared to go on sponsorship. They have to learn how to write, read and draw. This preparation can last more than a year depending on the ability of the child.

These young girls should be at school, but unfortunately they are in the streets selling items.

Street children, boys as well as girls work with beads to manufacture ear rings, bracelets and necklaces. The aim is to introduce them to different trades so that they can make a choice of what to learn for their own future.

At CAS, street children have the opportunity to work with computers. They enjoy it very much. At time three or four children are advising each other how to play games.
