Brothers with a Story, May 2008

Bro. Anacletus Tinper is one of four Ghanean brothers who started a new FIC-Community in Sunyani, Central Ghana. All four brothers are currently studying.	Bro. Carlo (Jan) Hillenaar (Netherlands, Nijmegen) will join the festivities of the 40th anniversary of the Roncalli Institute in Salatiga, Indonesia, around May 12. Bro. Jan was one of the founders of the institute, which provides retreats and courses for religious.

As of May bro. Thomas Edison from Indonesia will live and work as a missionary in Malawi.	Bro. Hans van Wouwen, vice-provincial of the province of Ghana, has been appointed by the bisschop of Wa as interim manager of the Lassia Tuolu agricultural project.

Brothers Wladimir (Henk) van Heck and Thomas Lechner from Malawi will visit The Netherlands from 5 May to 7 August.

Bro. Stephen Custers (left) was secretary to the provincial council of Ghana for many years. This year, as he turns 70, he will transfer his task to bro. Godfrey Naa-Tampah (right).

Bro. Theo Vink from Chile came back to the Netherlands for health reasons, at least for this year. He lives in the Emmaus community in Maastricht.	Bro. Guido Sukarman visited Ghana in february. He once was the first Indonesian missionary in Ghana, now he is the representative for that province in the General Council.

Bro. Albert Ketelaars is back in Ghana, read his reports on his 'inculturation' here in the FIC-Café.	Bro. Manuel Loyola (Chile) did his first profession on March 2, 2008.

Bro. Eustatius Wiryomartoyo (Indonesia, Muntilan): 85 years on 19 May.	Bro. Frits Baten (Netherlands, Maastricht): 90 years on 31 May.
